SETTINGS
A small town of 'Barrow Creek' in a made up county (Harrows Ridge County) in a made up state - Midwest America in the 1980s.
Barrow Creek - So named after early settler Elias Barrow, who built the first mill by the creek that runs through town. There's quiet talk he vanished near the water - and some say the creek still whispers his name.
Pixel's Edge - A video Game Store that offers try before you buy by large comfy couches and been bags, there are arcade machines in one corner, Claw machines out front. and DnD campaigns ran in the store room. This is the base, the hub for the group.

Idea Breakdown
A group of friends of friends go to the funeral of their shared friend. A journalist and a shop owner find the friends death sudden and don't believe what the police are saying. As all the friends of the group opting to do some digging deaths become more common in town, all gruesome all explained to be an animal.
While this is happening, the shop owners younger sisters who are in highschool - and their friends, are on a hunt themselves, in mirrors and screens they can see a monster staring back at them. Looking into it since the older group just ignore their warnings, they find the real secret to all of this.
Both groups meeting back at the shop, sharing their stories, they decide to work together to put an end to it all.
